The PTA of P.S. 176 strives to create a collective support system for students, staff and faculty with a goal in mind to continuously build an environment in which our students can excel and achieve academic success. Every member of the PTA utilizes their time, talent, creativity and knowledge to build the best kind of environment for our school. To assist us in achieving our goal, the PTA relies on parent involvement and participation.

The PTA hosts events which are all fun and educational with the purpose to raise funds to sponsor future activities, school clubs and teacher initiatives. Events that we have hosted include, Movie Night, Paint Night, Karaoke Night and Father’s Day Brunch
